Sourced from a selection of the best grapes from vines stocks with an average age of 60 years. The 50 ha. of vineyards are located in different plots around four villages in the Rioja Alavesa: Samaniego, Leza, Elciego and Laguarda. Harvested manually and followed by a careful sorting of the grapes at the winery.
Intense nose with layers of liquorice, cherries, blackberries, spices with smooth creamy oak notes. On the palate good concentration of cherry fruit, soft entry showing a silky texture with some fairly serious tannins but well integrated. Long creamy aftertaste.
