Thibault Liger-Belair Corton 'Les Renardes' Grand Cru 2019

Made with fruit purchased from a 0.32ha parcel planted in 1956, below Le Corton. 40% whole clusters and 60% new casks give a deeply aromatic wine, with abundant aromas of ripe blackberry, menthol, mineral and violets. On the palate, the texture is silky and very fine, yet there is a core of very firm tannins and great length. This has everything one wants in a Corton, from abundant fruit to firm structure and an immense finish.
