Three generations ago when Andrew Peller arrived in Canada from Hungary, he had a dream of creating a culture similar to what he had known in Europe where Canadians could enjoy great quality wines with family and friends.

That dream continues to be at the heart of what we do everyday at Peller Estates. It’s evident in the careful way our vineyard crews trim the vines during the hot days of summer to ensure our grapes are receiving just the right amount of sunlight. It’s why winemaker, Katie Dickieson sets out at first light to assess the grapes each morning as harvest season approaches to determine when the conditions are ideal for picking.
