The ârecentâ history of wine at Pago Casa Gran estate began at least 300 years ago. They have preserved an ancient wine cellar from those times in the Casa Benasal building. Manuela Galbis, the founderâs mother, reinitiated wine production at Pago Casa Gran during the 1960âs.
The youngest and most vibrant presentation of Pago Casa Granâs red blend series, this inky, juicy wine, a blend of Syrah, Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera, still holds remarkable freshness with a fleet footed structure. An admirable balance to achieve in this region. Blackberry, crushed violets, gentle tannins, and a refreshing back palate. Lovely and superbly priced juice from this holistic estate!
