This vibrant and refined white wine originates from the United States, specifically from the North Coast AVA of California, with fruit sourced from both the Suisun Valley and Napa Valley. Emmolo is a label within the Wagner Family of Wines, the producers behind Caymus Vineyards, and is owned and operated by winemaker Jenny Wagner. Named after her maternal family who established a rootstock nursery in Napa in 1923, the winery's philosophy is guided by the idea that 'less is more', focusing on creating non-herbaceous, minerality-driven wines through precise vineyard management.

Wine Description

This Sauvignon Blanc presents a fresh and clean appearance with a palate that is dry and juicy. The sensory profile features an expressive nose of white peach, citrus notes, and wet stone, complemented by aromas of Meyer lemon, yuzu, and lemon blossoms. On the palate, the wine is light to medium-bodied, showcasing additional echoes of peach, tangerine, and a 'crunchy' apple texture. It is characterized by a mouthwatering finish with hints of grated ginger and a subtle saline minerality. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc reached an alcohol content of 12.8%. While the winery employs sustainable farming techniques to manage canopy sunlight and eliminate herbaceous character, this bottling is not certified organic.
