On the palate, the wine is round and concentrated, showcasing polished tannins and a vibrant core of minerality that provides a refreshing lift. Unlike the flagship Côte-Rôtie, this 100% Syrah is made from de-stemmed fruit sourced from younger vines (averaging 20 years old) planted in schist soils. It has an ABV of 12.5% to 13% and was aged for 16 months in used oak barrels.
