Domaine Anne F. Gros Pommard Premier Cru 'Les Pezerolles' 2022
This wine is a seamless, supple, superb expression of Pommard with density yet a soft luscious finish that belies its position on the Beaune border.
Medium deep colour, offering a soft but powerful bouquet, with the fruit lifting attractively. Fills the mouth very well, with Pommard’s solid style. Some darker fruit at the back, the tannins being folded in to the flesh. Good length. Not too far from being approachable. There is a pretty little touch of ripe but balanced fruit at the back.
