Cruzan Single Barrel Rum

Cruzan's typical light wood and vanilla dominate the nose, though a touch of cocoa makes itself apparent. Heat, wood and woody spice characterize the palate where the initial cocoa turns faintly bitter and some grassy cane struggles to assert itself. The finish emphasizes heat and vanilla. Pretend it's Scotch and add a drop or two of water.
