Born from an association between Hubert de Bouard (Angelus, 1er grand cru classe de St-Emilion) and the Yvon Mau negoce business, here is a classic left-bank blend dominated by Merlot. Typical (in a good way), it reveals notes of cassis, cherry, raspberry and undergrowth, joined by a slight woody note, courtesy of the oak involved.
