Barahonda Barrica Monastrell Syrah

A lustrous ruby colour. On the nose, there are ripe black and blue fruits, cola, vanilla, and potpourri. On the palate, it's smooth and sweet at first, then tightens up in the middle, with bitter cherry and blueberry tastes, as well as hints of vanilla and spicecake. With aeration, a smokey note emerges, which persists until the lengthy, slightly tannic finish, which recalls the vanilla flavour.
